
Brent is currently the Global Operations Director for the ICOS Business unit at Belden, a leading manufacturer of networking, connectivity and cable products. His practical experience spans the business functions of Operations, Lean, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering, supported by studies in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management and an MBA. He is passionate about advancing and embedding Lean Philosophy in all parts of the business, and leveraging the human resources of businesses to effect sustainable change.
Brent has been able to challenge existing paradigms and business cultural norms, and successfully develop and execute business turnaround strategies. He achieves this using a proven model developed over the last fifteen years through experience gained at three fortune 50 companies in three different countries. He leverages this continually evolving model that transcends cultural boundaries as well as language challenges, and uses a hands-on approach in the deployment of this model that ensures that the continuous improvement mind-set becomes institutionalized across all levels of the organisation.
